Mark found him by the fishpond! He is cute and tiny, I looked everywhere for a similar frog and couldn't find any! I hope he sticks around :)

Thanksgiving Invitation!

Nope! Not too soon when you know our family! We are either extremely organized (Bee) and need proper notice time to cross all "Ts" and dot all "i"s, OR helplessly dyslexic (Telma), that no notice is ever long enough!

So, now it is official:

Thanksgiving dinner will be at Tel & Mark's, and all guests are invited for the whole weekend! There will be turkey dinner cooked by no other than our very own Victoria Lynn, boating in the canal, fishing, hammocking - by expert guest Eric Kledzick, star gazing with uncle Mark, house decorating with aunt Bee & aunt Cassie, and infant care lessons by aunt Deanna! Of course there will be extra activities too: how to rest properly by aunt Elisa, getting down with the boys by uncle Steve & uncle Nigel, and "care of magical creatures", okay, maybe house pets, by aunt T!

Lynn and Grams aren't coming because Grams doesn't sleep well away from home :(

Oh, all your dogs are invited too!

RIGEL (Beta Orionis). Like its rival in Orion, Betelgeuse, Rigel (Beta Orionis) is a supergiant. Its name comes from the same root as Betelgeuse's, originally "rijl Al-jauza," meaning the "foot" of al-jauza, the Arabs "Central One." For us, the star represents the left foot of Orion, the mythical hunter. It is usually pictured as perched upon a fainter star, Cursa (Beta Eridani), which represents the hunter's foot stool. Though Rigel is Orion's Beta star, it appears to us somewhat brighter than the Alpha star, Betelgeuse, perhaps suggesting that Betelgeuse was somewhat brighter in times past. Rigel ranks 7th in visual brightness, just behind Auriga's Capella. At a distance of 775 light years, Rigel actually shines with the light of 40,000 Suns.

So Colton celebrated his fourth birthday yesterday.

It was magical, to say the least! Mark dressed up as Batman, and Colton really believed that Batman came to his party. How cute is that? A forty-something grown up that cares enough for a four years old to "be" Batman under the Florida heat, and a little boy that thinks a cartoon character was at his party... two magical minds, one caring and loving, the other young and naive :)

watch out evil doers! Or "Spiderman" underpants, and "Batman" top will get you!!!!

My nephew Noah was in love with my little Nannie during his last visit. He misunderstood her name (my accent ?), and called her "Annie"! Mark and I collect mispronouced pet's names: we have "Poopy" our cat Puffy, renamed by a very young Colton, and now "Annie", by Noah :)
